We had the best long weekend staying at Amani Farm. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with kindness and generosity - from a farm tour, to being encouraged to forage the garden for vegetables and herbs. They even named a calf born that night after us. The animals were amazing, especially the dogs and James the pig.

The cabin really is as good as the photos. Alpacas, sheep, donkeys, cows, chickens, peacocks and Guinea Fowl - all really friendly. Plus the stars of the show: the lovely cheeky dogs, and of course James the pig. A real character. We had a lovely stay and a great way for us to reconnect.

We spent three weeks visiting the Australian East Coast and the warm welcome and excellent accommodation at Amani Farm were among the favourite parts of our trip. Getting a chance to interact with the animals and seeing how the farm was run was great. We'll be back.

Fantastic stay at this slice of paradise. So quiet and peaceful — aside from the odd baaa — and only half an hour from our home. Perfect getaway to relax and reconnect. Claudia made us feel like part of the family. We loved every minute and can't wait for our next stay.
